What are the 4 types of syringes

Publish Time: 2022-02-16     Origin: Site

A syringe is a common medical device. As early as the 15th century, the Italian Cartinel put forward the principle of the syringe. Gas or liquid is extracted or injected with a needle. Syringes can also be used for medical equipment and containers. For example, some scientific instruments in chromatography are injected through a rubber membrane. With the continuous development of medical technology, syringe syringes are mainly made of glass from the beginning. Usually, the syringe will print a scale on the sleeve. Glass syringe is mainly sterilized by high temperature and high pressure, while the plastic syringe is mainly composed of a push rod, sleeve, piston, positioning ring, and protective cap. There are Four types of syringes on the market. What are the 4 types of syringes? Here are some answers.

Here is the content list:

l Disposable syringe

l Infusion set

l I.V Cannula

l Hypodermic needles

Disposable syringe

Our general-use syringes feature a clear barrel for content visualization and accurate, bold scale markings to help with dosage accuracy. The large finger flange improves control during aspiration and injection and the plunger stop feature helps prevent accidental plunger pull-out. Developed with patient comfort, ease of use, and clinical performance in mind, syringes are available in both Luer Lock and Luer Slip styles. Not made with natural rubber latex.

Insulin syringe

Insulin is secreted by the pancreas to help the glucose in our food to enter our body cells and provide energy. Because insulin is destroyed by stomach acid, it must be administered by injection and cannot be taken orally. Type 1 diabetics need insulin injections, and type 2 diabetics may need insulin injections to improve their blood sugar when oral hypoglycaemic drugs are ineffective or during acute illness, pregnancy or surgery. Insulin syringes were the only commonly used way of delivering insulin for much of the 20th century. Towards the end of the 1990s, insulin pens became more commonly used.

I.V syringe

Medical offers a complete range of the finest quality IV syringe. Critical components for the cannula are imported from world-class manufacturers. The manufacture, assembly, testing, and packaging are done in clean rooms with the most modern amenities.

Hypodermic needles

Our hypodermic needles provide comfortable injection and superior flow rates for patients. Needle sizes range from 30G to 16G for a variety of applications. The needles are color-coded for ease of identification and are compatible with our Luer Lock and Luer Slip syringes. Needles are sterile and have a regular bevel. Not made with natural rubber latex.
